What it does, per its published materials
- Lists unlimited wallet and exchange syncs and 1,000+ integrations on all plans, plus customer support.
- Paid reports include IRS Form 8949, international reports, an income report, and capital gains and audit-trail reports.
- Exports to TurboTax Online and Desktop, TaxAct, H&R Block and TaxSlayer.
- Lets you regenerate a report free as long as you stay within your tier.
Refunds
The refund policy allows refunds within 14 days, only when support verifies a software limitation and before any report is downloaded. Two practical points follow. First, use the free tier to check your transaction count and imports before you buy. Second, don’t download a report until you’re satisfied with the numbers.
Complaints: what to check before you buy
This page doesn’t collect or count user reviews. Going by CoinLedger’s own published terms, these are the points most likely to lead to a dispute, so check them first:
- Refunds end at the first download. The policy above doesn’t cover a change of mind, so download only once the numbers look right.
- Your transaction count sets the price. Import everything in the free tier and read the count before you pick a plan.
- Imports may need review. CoinLedger sells per tax year, so fix any import gaps before buying that year’s report.
On security, in November 2025 CoinLedger published a notice of an incident at its analytics vendor, Mixpanel. The notice says two datasets of user information were exported, and that passwords, private keys, tax forms and transaction data weren’t involved. See is CoinLedger safe? for details.
Who it fits, based on published features and pricing
This is a reading of CoinLedger’s published plans and prices, not a tested recommendation.
- Fits US filers with up to about 1,000 transactions a year who prefer a one-time payment per tax year to a subscription.
- Less suited to people catching up on many years at once, because each year is a separate purchase, or to anyone who wants a broad refund window.
