Assumptions & sources
Plan prices and transaction caps come from each vendor's own pricing page, checked 23 Oct 2026. CoinLedger, Koinly and ZenLedger charge per tax year, so the total multiplies by the years you file. CoinTracker counts only the tax year you file and its paid plans include past years' forms, so it is counted once.
- Excludes sales tax/VAT/GST, refunds, chargebacks, payout and FX fees (unless toggled), and promotions.
- CoinLedger: Hobbyist $49.00 (up to 100), Investor $99.00 (up to 1,000), Pro $199.00 (up to 3,000), Unlimited $499.00 (unlimited). source

How it works
- Pick the cheapest plan whose transaction cap covers your count, for each tool.
- Total = plan price × tax years for per-year tools; CoinTracker's plan price is counted once.
- If you need tax-loss harvesting, only plans listed with it in our data are used; others show 'not listed'.
- Volumes with no published price (for example CoinLedger 3,001 to 9,999) show 'priced in app / not published'.
Worked example
With 500 transactions for one tax year: CoinLedger Investor USD 99, Koinly Hodler USD 99, CoinTracker Prime USD 199 and ZenLedger Gold USD 199. For two years, CoinLedger and Koinly double to USD 198 while CoinTracker stays at USD 199.
