Who we are

What we collect

  • Analytics, only with your consent. If you click Accept in our cookie banner, we use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-KH3MGG7HN4) to count visits, pages viewed, the referring site, approximate location derived from your IP address, and device and browser type. It sets the _ga and _ga_* cookies. We run no ads. If you reject or don’t choose, Google’s tag isn’t loaded. You can change your choice with the Cookie settings link in the footer.   • Hosting and security logs. The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes IP addresses and request data to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
  • Emails you send us. If you email us, we receive your address and message and use them only to reply.
  • Affiliate links. When you click a link to another company’s site, that company may record the visit under its own privacy policy. We don’t receive your personal details from it.

We don’t sell personal data, and we don’t run advertising cookies.

Why we use it

  • Analytics: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time from the Cookie settings link.
  • Hosting and security: our legitimate interest in running a safe, working site.
  • Replying to emails: our legitimate interest in answering you.

Service providers

Cloudflare (hosting and security) and Google (Google Analytics 4, only with consent). These providers may process data in countries other than yours, including the United States, under their own data-protection terms.

How long we keep data

Google Analytics data is kept for the retention period set in our Google Analytics property and then deleted by Google. Emails are kept only as long as needed to deal with your message. Security logs follow Cloudflare’s retention.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict its use, to withdraw consent, and to complain to your local data protection authority. Email stackandsum@gmail.com to make a request.

Children

This site is not aimed at children, and we don’t knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If we change this policy, for example by adding a newsletter, we’ll update this page and the date above.
