Frequently asked questions
Which is cheapest?
For a single tax year, CoinLedger and Koinly list the lowest entry price at $49 for 100 transactions, against $59 at CoinTracker. If you need several past years, CoinTracker can work out cheaper, because one plan includes every past year's forms.
How does each count transactions?
CoinTracker counts only the transactions in the tax year you file, and excludes spam, dust and rebates, plus staking and interest from Prime up. CoinLedger and Koinly sell plans per tax year by transaction count; check each one's help centre for what's excluded.
Do I pay again for past tax years?
With CoinLedger and Koinly, plans are bought per tax year. CoinTracker says one plan covers your forms for every year you've held crypto, so catching up on several years costs the same as one.
What are the refund rules?
