How payouts work from India

  1. Go to Settings, Payouts, Add payout method, and select India.
  2. Enter your details exactly as your bank holds them.
  3. Complete the mandatory identity check (by QR code, SMS link or on the same device, with camera access).
  4. Add your INR bank account.

All your groups pay out to the same bank account. Funds become available 8 to 14 days after your first payment, then pay out weekly on Wednesdays.

Fees and what you keep

Plan Monthly price Fee per sale Payout on a USD 9 membership
Hobby USD 9 10% + USD 0.30 USD 7.80
Pro USD 99 2.9% + USD 0.30 (3.9% + USD 0.30 above USD 900) USD 8.40

Payout examples are Skool’s own. Yearly billing gives 2 months free. Skool’s fee includes card processing, and its FAQ says this is cheaper than Stripe’s extra charges for international cards and subscriptions. If Growth Boost brings you a member, Skool also keeps 30% of that member’s recurring charges.

Who it fits, based on published features and pricing

This is a reading of Skool’s published features and prices, not a tested recommendation. Skool hasn’t been tested hands-on for this page.

It fits Indian creators selling community memberships or courses to a USD-paying audience, who want payouts in rupees without setting up their own payment gateway. If most of your buyers are in India and you want to charge in rupees, a tool that supports Razorpay may fit better: see Systeme.io pricing in India. For Teachable’s USD plans and India Pay eligibility, see Teachable pricing in India.

What this page doesn’t cover

It doesn’t cover GST registration, export-of-services rules or income tax on payouts. This is general information, not tax advice. For every fee and plan detail see Skool pricing and Skool alternatives.
